Research on the Creative Industries (*)

It is about the totality of sectors and activities that rely on the input of human creativity for the creation of economic, symbolic and social values, divided according to different stages of the value chain (Creation, production, distribution and consumption), and contributing to the expansion of the Rwandan "creative advantage".

The term "creative advantage" refers to the competitive advantage Rwanda can pursue by focusing on creativity as key input factor for innovation and social development.

Individual and group coaching

Learn some business skills in order to assume 'self-management'

Supervising:

- individual artists in their search for a suitable organizational form or structure, and

- existing artists' groups to develop an appropriate organizational structure.

 Exploring the value of artistic skills within other (business) contexts.

 

Education

At first a Vocational Dance Education path within a three year curriculum, entitling to the degree of professional dancer and then a one year curriculum entitling for pedagogical competence for vocational dance education.

Later, other artistic vocational training can be considered.

 

Rwandan Traditional Dance Archiving Fund

To preserve the purity and accuracy of the Traditional Rwandan Dance one will take initiatives to create an audio visual archive as a legacy for future dance professionals. For this we will search for a worldwide collaboration with similar protection funds.

 

Artists’ Mobility organization

Establishing a fund to facilitate the mobility of Rwandan artists and apprentices worldwide.
